Day 19: Discuss your first love.
I feel her warmth before I see her, buried beneath the covers as I am. She steps toward me slowly, on dainty feet. Grace may be hers by nature, though not in the morning. I free myself from my cocoon to see her laying on her side. Blearily she gazes back at me with her wide and stunning eyes. Her small mouth stretches open in a tiny yawn. I smile back as she curls in towards me. She stretches long as I wrap my arm around her. She nestles close, tickling my pale skin with small hairs.
As she wrinkles her nose, her whiskers graze my arm, eliciting the rise of minuscule mountains. Triangular ears twitch, and paws reach out. Stripes and spots ripple across her downy fur. Pinpricks take me by surprise when claws briefly emerge. I rub her gently and she rolls onto her back. The corners of my mouth turn up at the vision of innocence. A squeak erupts as she yawns. "Good morning, Lulu," I reply.
I haven't actually been in love before with anyone, only crushes at most. This scene is a different kind of love, between my kitten and I.
