30 Day Writing Challenge: Day Twenty One

Day 21: What three lessons do you want your children to learn from you?

  1. Don't procrastinate. This is certainly my greatest flaw so hopefully my children can learn from my mistakes. Procrastination is a pain to deal with so I hope they'll be better about avoiding it than I am.
  2. Don't be a bully. Bullies stink. I was bullied as a child so I want to make sure my kids don't turn into bullies. I'd much rather have them help the kids who are bullied than be bullies themselves.
  3. Be true to yourself. Whether you're a nerd, a jock, a farmer, or something else. Never let anybody crush your creativity or halt your ingenuity. Be confident in who you are and never let anyone take that away from you.
This one was difficult to decide on, but these three are definitely lessons I would want my kids to learn.
